About Us
Dr. Potter opened Kaysville Family Medicine on January 2, 2007. He likes to joke that he is from Maryland, his wife is from Bountiful, so they compromised and came to Kaysville. They both enjoy life here and find it a great place to raise their four children.
Who You Will Meet:
Dr. Steven Jared Potter
Dr. Potter has had a very traditional idea of what a doctor should be since childhood. He decided he wanted to be a doctor when he was 10 years old, and worked towards that goal ever since. He received his medical degree in 2003 and came to Utah for his Residency. Although he doesn’t know of any Potters in the area that he’s related to, he is related to most everyone named “Maughan” or “Creer.” Of particular interest to the kids in the practice, he does in fact have a nephew named Harry Potter.
David Skalka, FNP, JD
David joined the practice in 2012. He lives in Farmington with his wife and children. Thanks to his addition, we are now able to see patients until 7PM most weeknights and on Saturdays.
